Program Leader Job Description 

 

Why we need you

Springboard Collaborative invites talented and passionate current school district employees to apply for the part-time position of Program Leader. The Program Leader will be responsible for leading Springboard programming at their school.  Programming will run from March 1st-May 15th, 2026.  This role will require some time before and after the tutoring window. 

 

Springboard Collaborative closes the literacy gap by closing the gap between home and school. We coach educators and family members to help kids learn to read by 4th grade. Springboard envisions a world in which all children have the requisite literacy skills to access life opportunities.

 

The Program Leader will supervise the teaching team at their school. The Program Leader will report to their Cluster Leader and work as part of their school’s Springboard team. This is a great opportunity to support families in their school community and to help students accelerate their progress learning to read.

What you’ll bring to us

We value excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships.  You should be data-driven, comfortable with data systems, and tech-savvy, especially in managing and interpreting program and student data. Leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills are a must, as well as a dedication to educational equity and empowering students.

 

Compensation

Staff will be paid for their Springboard work directly by their district at their district hourly rate, $40 per hour.  Staff will be responsible for tracking their hours worked throughout the program.
