This is a 209-day position with benefits and compensation according to the collective bargaining agreement. The work year shall consist of the 184 days that all STA Unit A teachers are required to work as stated in the collective bargaining agreement with an additional 25 days following the final day of work for 184-day staff as scheduled by the Director of Special Education.

Qualifications:

  • Appropriate Department of Elementary and Secondary Educator's license in the field or subject for this position
  • DESE SEI endorsement Required
  • Bilingual Educator Preferred

 

Responsibilities:

  • Per the Somerville Educators Union, Unit A, collective bargaining agreement

 

Position Reports to:

  • The School Principal
