Job Goal:  Manage a diverse caseload of subsidized slots, helping with the dual authorizations, and ensure paperwork is accurate. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and have excellent organization and customer service skills.

Special Requirements:

• BA preferred or AA degree in ECE or equivalent combination of education and experience while working on degree completion
• Must have reliable transportation

Qualifications:

Knowledge of:

• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Word, Excel
• Community services for families
• Familiar with child care licensing requirements statewide
• Customer service skills
• EEC management systems

Ability to:

• Communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing
• Be organized and use effective time management
• Facilitate positive communication with customers
• Work collaboratively with agency staff as well as outside community agencies

Responsibilities:

• Mange the EEC background check for outside providers and CS staff
• Intakes and reassessments for subsidized slots
• Help with the EEC dual authorization for slots
• Maintain files
• Data input
• Keeping current with EEC policies & guidelines for childcare agencies

Terms of Employment:

• Part Time / Yearly Appointment
• School Year Schedule (September 2024–June 2025)
• Monday - Friday - Up to 12 hours per week
• If applicable: Out of regular school/work hours
• Location: Central Office / Community Schools
